Mike Bloxam

Mike has been a sci-fi fan since he was young, being introduced to Star Trek: The Next Generation by his father in the late ’80s. When Star Trek: Deep Space Nine premiered, Mike fully became a Trekkie and the rest is history.
He discovered Quantum Leap in the late ’90s when in syndication on Space: The Imagination Station and immediately fell in love with the show. After getting involved on the rec.arts.sf.tv.quantum-leap newsgroup, he discovered further online communities and eventually stumbled upon Quantum Leap: The Virtual Seasons (TVS) and started writing “virtual episodes” starting in season seven.
This eventually led Mike to Al’s Place and the message boards, where Damon was already an established member. Mike and Damon would go on to co-write a number of TVS virtual episodes.
When Quantum Leap (2022) launched, Damon invited Mike to join him to review the new episodes in a podcast format, which eventually became known as Fandom Entanglement. Their shared love of Sliders led to their first series of “retro reviews” in 2024.
